Toddlers aren't meant to sit still, look at a lens, or perform on demand—and they don't have to. We embrace wild energy, toddler curiosity, and natural play. If your child wants to explore the park, hunt for pinecones, or cuddle up on the couch, we let them lead the way.

Don't worry for a single second—this is completely normal and expected! As a parent myself, I know children don't perform on demand. Our sessions are 100% child-led, meaning there is zero pressure to sit still or pose. We take breaks, play games, explore, and let your child set the pace. Some of the sweetest, most authentic photos happen during the quiet or silly moments in between.

We keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If heavy rain or unsafe weather is expected, we can easily reschedule to another available date or pivot to a cosy, unscripted in-home session instead. Soft overcast skies, however, actually create beautiful, flattering light for photos!

Comfort and coordination over matching! Soft, neutral, and earth-toned tones (like warm creams, sage, soft linen, warm beige, and rust) work beautifully against natural woodland or home backdrops. Avoid large logos, bright neon colors, or busy patterns. Once you book, I send over a full welcome guide to help you co-ordinate your family's outfits effortlessly.
