Session Booking & Model Release
Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Deposit
Securing the Date: A session is only considered officially booked once the Client has completed the digital Booking Form and paid a non-refundable deposit. This retainer secures your date and is deducted from the total session fee.
Final Payment: The remaining balance for your chosen package is due 24 hours before the session date. Digital galleries will not be released until full payment is received.
Founding 10 Promotion: If you are part of the "Founding 10" launch promotion, the specific discounted rate and package inclusions agreed upon at the time of booking are final.
2. Rescheduling & Illness
Health Policy: Because I work closely with newborns and young children, I maintain a strict health policy. If anyone in your household is unwell (fever, contagious cough, etc.), we must reschedule. Please provide as much notice as possible (minimum 24 hours).
Photographer Illness: In the unlikely event that I am unwell, I will notify you immediately. We will prioritise a reschedule date. If a suitable date cannot be found, your deposit will be refunded in full.
Weather: For Outdoor Lifestyle sessions, I monitor the forecast closely. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, I will contact you 2–4 hours before the session to reschedule.
3. The Session & Safety
In-Home Studio Requirements: For Portable Studio sessions, the Client is responsible for providing a clear floor space of approximately 2m x 2m near a natural light source (large window or glass doors).
Safety: While I take every precaution with professional lighting and equipment, the safety of the child remains the parent/guardian's responsibility at all times. Children and pets must be supervised while equipment is being set up or in use.
Baby-Led Approach: My style is documentary and baby-led. I do not "force" poses. If a baby needs to feed, change, or sleep, we follow their rhythm. I cannot guarantee specific "perfectly posed" shots if the child is not comfortable.
4. Artistry & Delivery
Editing Style: The Client has chosen Laura Rickute Photography based on my style seen in the portfolio. I retain final artistic discretion over which images are edited and delivered.
Timeline: A "sneak peek" is usually provided within 48 hours. Your full digital gallery will be delivered via a secure link within 2–3 weeks.
Raw Files: I do not provide unedited or "RAW" files under any circumstances, as these are unfinished works.
5. Copyright & Usage
Ownership: Laura Rickute Photography retains the copyright to all images.
Client License: You are granted a "Personal Use License." You may print, share on social media, and gift images to family. You may not enter images into contests, sell them to third parties, or use them for commercial purposes without written consent.
6. Liability
Data & Equipment: In the highly unlikely event of total equipment failure or lost digital data, my liability is limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
Personal Property: I am not responsible for damage to the Client’s property during a session, except in cases of gross negligence.
Model Release
I want to capture your family's honest, unscripted story exactly as it is. My official business website and blog.

Our Agreement on Privacy & Respect:
No Personal Data: I will never publish your phone number, home and email addresses, or your children's last names online.
